Caroline Wooten has always loved taking pictures. When she heard a family friend was planning to marry, she decided to offer her photography services as a wedding gift.
“It was a little nerve-racking at the time, because I knew the photos would mean a lot to them and their family. But I discovered then that I love the challenge of capturing people’s true personalities in pictures.”
Caroline’s friend was thrilled with her wedding photos and encouraged her to venture into professional photography. During her first semester of photography classes, a friend asked Caroline to take some modeling shots for a high-profile ad he was trying to land. He still uses the image she created for him in his international portfolio. Caroline was pleased to earn accolades in the Young Contemporaries review section of the Charleston City Paper, her first public review.
What began as a hobby in high school has grown into a passion. Caroline recently graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in studio art. She specializes in wedding and portrait photography and takes great pride in creating photos that are full of life and character.
